MBCS offers our services nationwide. Our local service areas include Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County.

A Certified Access Specialist (CASp) is a professional who has passed an examination and has been certified by the State of California to have specialized knowledge of the applicability of state and federal construction-related accessibility standards. Only a CASp Inspection offer you “qualified defendant” status in a construction-related accessibility lawsuit.
Our ADA consultants are licensed Certified Access Specialists (CASp) who will understand the complexity of your project early and will counsel your team in advance of any challenges. Having a CASp perform an ADA Inspection of your publicly accessible locations is the first step in mitigating your lawsuit risk and ensuring ADA Compliance. Our Inspectors serve all of California, but also offer local services in the Los Angeles, Santa Ana, and San Diego areas.
The ADA is a federal civil rights law that was signed into law in 1990 by President George H.W. Bush. The ADA protects people with disabilities from discrimination in the hiring process, requires access to public programs and services, and requires access to public places of accommodation. An enforcement agency was not created for the ADA, as such the law is only enforced via civil lawsuits and complaints.
Our inspectors are Certified Access Specialists (CASp). Their expert knowledge and expertise in applying the California Building Code, which has the most strict accessibility requirements of any other state, makes them expertly qualified in applying the accessibility standards of your state. Many states elect to simply adopt the 2010 ADAS as their accessibility standards, but many states amend the 2010 ADAS into their own building code or adopt another standard, like ANSI/ICC A117.1. Our inspectors know how to navigate and apply all of the accessibility standards in the United States and our report software will site the applicable standards for your facility.
The Division of the State Architect ensures our schools are safe and accessible for students and staff. We conduct inspections to meet code requirements for individuals with diverse needs.
Our Services Include:
