Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)
What is the ADA?
The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination of individuals with disabilities and requires all facilities used by the public (public accommodations) to be accessible to individuals with disabilities. Since January 26, 1992, all new construction, additions and alterations are required to comply with the ADA standards. The ADA contains no “grandfathering” provisions. ADA Inspections are key to ensuring compliance with the law.

Our ADA consultants are licensed Certified Access Specialists (CASp) who will understand the complexity of your project early and will counsel your team in advance of any challenges. Having a CASp perform an ADA Inspection of your publicly accessible locations is the first step in mitigating your lawsuit risk and ensuring ADA Compliance. Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI)
What is a CPSI?
The CPSI certification is offered by the National Recreation and Park Association. This certification program provides comprehensive and up-to-date training information on playground safety issues including hazard identification, equipment specifications, surfacing requirements and risk management methods.
